Northern Circuit Route with Crater Camping Kilimanjaro

The Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the only Kilimanjaro route that offers mountain hut accommodation instead of tents, making it an excellent option for trekkers seeking more comfort during their climb. The route approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the eastern side and follows a gradual ascent through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and finally to the snow-capped summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m).

This 6-7 day itinerary allows proper acclimatization, increasing summit success while providing a well-paced and scenic trekking experience guided by Travel with Shira’s professional mountain team.
