The park is world-famous for its flamingos, which often gather in large numbers along the lake’s shores, creating a breathtaking pink spectacle. Lake Nakuru is also a designated rhino sanctuary and offers excellent opportunities to see both black and white rhinos. Other wildlife includes lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.
Birdlife is exceptional, with over 450 bird species recorded, making the park a paradise for birdwatchers. Visitors can enjoy game drives, birdwatching, and panoramic viewpoints such as Baboon Cliff and Lion Hill, which provide stunning views over the lake and surrounding landscapes.
