Mandara Hut Day Trip
The day begins with an early morning departure from Moshi, followed by a drive to Marangu Gate on the eastern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. After registration, enjoy a guided hike through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut, passing scenic trails rich in birdlife, colobus monkeys, and towering eucalyptus trees. Along the way, visit the Maundi Crater for stunning views of Kilimanjaro’s landscapes and, on clear days, the Kenyan plains. After a rest and picnic lunch at Mandara Hut, descend back to the gate and return to Moshi in the late afternoon.</p>
