Tsavo East National Park is one of Kenya’s largest and most iconic wildlife reserves, located in southeastern Kenya. Famous for its vast open savannahs, red-soiled landscapes, and iconic baobab trees, the park offers a classic African safari experience. It forms part of the greater Tsavo Conservation Area, which together with Tsavo West, covers over 22,000 square kilometers.

The park is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and hippos. Tsavo East is especially renowned for its large elephant population, often seen in family herds roaming the savannahs. Birdlife is abundant, with over 500 species recorded, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.
